My Story

In 2016, my son Sam was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. He was treated, and is still being treated at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh. I've created this page because I want to give something back to the hospital and to families like ours who find themselves in hospital for extended periods.

Myself and a group of hardy adventurers plan to play role-playing games for 24 hours solid as part of ECHC's Save Point 2018 event (although we'll actually be doing our gaming marathon a week earlier than the official date).

The intrepid party consists of:
Myself, Don Jardine, Sam Whiteley, Keith Paton, Simon Eccles and Kevin White along with one or two others, including my two older kids, who will pop in for the odd session.

We'll be streaming the whole thing live through the Twitch service. The link to the stream will be posted on this page once the stream goes live.

Please help us help the Sick Kids by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family.

Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!

Thank You
